Diploma Programme
Admissions to the diploma programmes in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ,Electrical Engineering,Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology are done through Pre-polytechnic Test (PPT), usually conducted by PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION BOARD (PEB,www.peb.mp.gov.in) , Bhopal in the month of April every year. The admission to diploma programme in Textile Technology is on the basis of merit from the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination (10th pass with min 40% marks for general category and pass marks for SC/ST/OBC category from M.P. Board of Secondary Education , Bhopal or its equivalent). The admission forms are available for sale in all polytechnics from 16th June and last date is 30th June that is sometimes extended. The admissions are open to bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh(except for wards of Military Personnel and persons displaced from Jammu & Kashmir as per conditions laid down in PPT and Non-PPT booklets (online or print). The college hours are from 10.30 AM to 5.00 PM. The details are as under:-

Apart from above, some seats are also available under Lateral Entry Proogramme for ITI pass outs who are given exemption in some subjects depending on their rank in qualifying exam.
Online-Offcampus Counselling [www.dtempcounselling.org] (for admissions under PPT and Lateral Entry) has been started by the Director Technical Education, MP from the year 2010-2011.
The reservation for SC/ST/OBC categories, wards of Military Personnels and freedom fighters, Physically handicapped persons, wards of displaced persons from J & K shall be as per State Govt. rules.An example for Textile Technology program is given below:-

30% of available seats are reserved for female candiates in each category which if falling vacant, will be filled by male candidates of same category.
Course Fee:
1. The Tuition Fee for each diploma programme is Rs.10000/- per year that can be deposited in two instalments at the beginning of each semester.Full and Half tuition fee exemptions are available to SC/ST/OBC categories, Poor general category candidates, Gaon ki Beti and under such schemes. However, such students are required to fill up desired forms in time failing which full fee will be charged from them. No fee exemption is available after course duration i.e. 3 years.
2. College Fee of Rs. 370/-(including Transfer Certificate Fee) has to be deposited by every student in their I year and Rs.220/- for ever subsequent year.
3. Examination Fee and other university fees will be directly charged by Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal through online process while filling up examination forms.
